AN ORIGINAL TRUTH FILMS PRODUCTION
We are producing a feature-length documentary about a group of San Diego nurses who, during the 2021–2022 COVID-19 vaccine mandate, were forced to choose between their careers and their religious convictions. After requests for accommodation were denied, many lost positions they had held for years, some decades.
It is a human story about the cost of difficult decisions during an unprecedented moment in modern healthcare. Through intimate, character-driven storytelling, alongside perspectives from legal and public health experts, the film follows the personal, and emotional aftermath of those decisions, revealing the human cost when faith and policy come into conflict.
